Okay 3 things about this episode

1. The fact we see cerberumon and Lillithmon maybe we’re going to see Lucemon 2

2. The fact that Gammamon evil heart protected him from Lillithmons curse and him controlling his eyes like that could mean that he’s getting better at controlling his emotions.

3. We’re also getting a dark version of Siriusmon called ARCTURUSMON!!! This could prove my theory that GulusGammamon and Gammamon could split from each other

Great story telling, the whole episode is fully fleshed out. The writer(s) really put this one together very well. It doesn't feel like it's rushed to the finish like the older episodes.
The light effects of the headlights at the beginning was also pretty nice, those tiny details are overlooked.

You're right. In previous episodes, fights ended abruptly and the end of episode always seemed to be anticlimactic.
This wasn't case in this episode.

I was fine with the slife of life horror (sans my personal complain that they could spice things up by having at least some other humans interact with the digimon sans main cast to show off more "digimon-human coexistence")

What plot progress? Strong digimon could open digital gates? We already saw that in infamous episode 13 when Gulus appeared for the first time.
It could be plot progress if we agree that Gammamon knows how to control his emotions and he didn't fall under Lilithmon's influence.
I mean, seriously, we still don't know almost anything about Gulus, about those black digimon and about Hokuto. Is Hokuto infamous "The One"?

I guess this episode we know "someone is sending digimon to the real world" on purpose, that's about it really

Lillithmon is hot, always a treat to see her animated haha She was my MVP when I was playing Cyber Sleuth, so I can't help but love her.

A Lilithmon and Cerberumon picking up random people to use on their Angel Hunt and throwing them out after they have lost all their use. Guessing by angels Lilithmon meant going after angel digimon.

Gammamon showing what is an equivalent to controlled rage is a highlight, although it wound up getting unwanted attention from Lillithmon after she had taken an interest in Siriusmon's power and ability to quick study.

Lilithmon able to create and open Digital Gates of her own implies that Digimon with immeasurable power like the Seven Demon Lord Digimon are able to freely cross boundaries between worlds. This could also mean whoever has been opening the portals with no rhyme or reason as Lilithmon speaks of has power that can rival that of a Demon Lord Digimon. For now I'm going to put the idea of Hokuto having perfected the portal technology in the back burner for a bit.

Lilithmon wonders if Gammamon's other self would take an interest in an alliance but the problem with that is finding a way to force him to emerge which might be even harder now that he seems to have gotten better at controlling his temper.

It could be Hokuto, but he could be used or possessed by some mighty digimon. That could be also a plot twist.

Gammamon can control now his temper, but Regulusmon and Arcturusmon are still waiting.

Well the question then would be did Hokuto completed the Digital portal technology that can allow him to return but it would mean he either can not return as a deal involving Gammamon's digitama or his portal technology was stolen?

Everything about Hokuto is still a mystery. He could be The One, but, I don't know, for me, that's unlikely. Hokuto mentioned that he works with some other digimon, so it's possible that his technology was stolen or misused.

We actually have not seen the faces of the Digimon Hokuto is getting help from. Either the technology malfunctioned or if it's as you said, the technology was stolen.

Lilithmon eyes in the car staring at gammamon was really good. I hope we get other demon lords soon or even Bolboutamon since Piedmon & Myotismon still out there.

Not really a Christmas themed ep unfortunately but in exchange, we get a bit of a Christmas present lore/plot. Now it would be nice if they actually did stuff with it more consistently.

I'll second the notion that at this point, Kotaro needs getting on board with the truth, you can't just shrug this one off to holograms. He doesn't even need a digivice and they know plenty of mon he could potentially partner with for some extra protection.

So this all out confirms that Gamma and Gulus are two separate mon, so how did Gulus get trapped in Gamma or why?

No, Gulus is Gammamon's evolved form. He might be Gammamon's true adult form, combining powers of Betel, Kaus and Wezen respectively.
Hokuto might suppressed Gulus' true power in Gammamon. That's why Gammamon doesn't remember anything about Gulus.
Spoiler - Proximamon is DNA evolution of Siriusmon, Gammamon's good mega, and Arcturusmon, Gulus' mega.

Lilithmon for Christmas. Nice. Of course she will hunt angels, she is a demon. It was nice to see that her was accompanied with Cereberumon, the dog from hell. It was nice touch that Lilithmon cared for Cerberumon. I just found that a bit strange. This is also first anime appearance of Cerberumon: Werewolf Mode.

Kotarou still can't catch a break. He really has bad luck. He talked about "angels" and Lilithmon heard it. But, still, he thinks that Gammamon is hologram. I mean, seriously, stop with that nonsense. It just doesn't work anymore. I'll say this - Kotarou is ready to be new addition to our trio fantastico. Come on, give him digivice and partner digimon.

So, The One also threw Lilithmon against her will in human world, but she can go back in digital world. Well, we are going to get mega levels digimon from now, so anything is possible.

It was truly great how Gammamon suppressed his evil side for sake of Kotarou, but Lilithmon clearly took a note from that.

So, after 57 episodes, Hiro finally takes a hint that someone from digital world sent all those digimon to human world. Slow realization. Also, Hokuto could be culprit, right? I mean, he somehow managed to get in digital world, he made an alliance with Black Tailmon Uver, he already sent Gammamon, Espimon, Andiramon and Oleamon to human world, so he really could be The One or some digimon just used him. Oh, Barbamon, will you already show up?

So, we still have to wait to unfold Gulus' mystery and to get his evolutions - Regulusmon and Arcturusmon.
I just hope that they won't rush everything now. We will see Angoramon's and Jellymon's mega evolution and don't forget about Proximamon.

Next time, it's pyramid, and we probably are going to see Pharaohmon. Some speculates it will be Ancient Sphinxmon, but I really doubt it about his appearance. Will we see Angoramon's mega because it looks like Ruli-centered episode? But, we must wait two weeks.

This year started brutal with episode 13 and with first appearance of Gulus Gammamon. Maybe, we will get something similar for start of 2023.

How long how long are they going to keep kotaru I'm the dark about digimon. And speaking of dark far be it for me to complain but we need a light hearted ep every now and then. Don't get me wrong loved this episode.

Episode was good. That's just it, really, not "bad" or "great" it's just good. Nothing much happened in this episode besides the introduction of Lilithmon and the implication of Gulusgammamon's desire to join her once he either separates or takes over. Story became a bit more serialized but continuity is still fragile, Kotaro still doesn't realize that the digimons are not hologram but real beings after all that happened plus this episode?? Oh c'mon, this is absurd.

All in all, this should be the final part, this series is reaching 60-mark so we better see a journey to Digital World in the next few episodes.

We also might see Lucemon as he did appear in the opening, I'm still waiting. The next episode should be very interesting, it's Ancient Sphinxmon and it's a Ruli's episode too, I'm curious how they're gonna win against an Ultimate with just a Perfect. I also have a theory about the ultimate evolutions and it's that each one of them is gonna about their relationships with Digimon, Hiro-Gammamon siblingship, Ruli-Angoramon as her protecter, and Jellymon-Kiyo as romance and each one of them is gonna be shamed for it. MarinAngemon is probably gonna shame Jellymon for falling in love with a human and that triggers their Ultimate, for Lamortmon he's gonna be shamed for caring about and protecting a useless human like Ruli which may make it evolve into an ultimate. Something like this, maybe.

Seriously, they need to get rid of that hologram nonsense. It doesn't work anymore.

It will be probably Pharaohmon next episode, especially because it will have something with Mummymon.
The name of episode is "Pyramid". But, this is Ghost Game and everything is possible.

In opening, we also saw Etemon, Mugendramon, Lady Devimon, Metal Seadramon, even Pinochimon and they didn't show up and I really doubt that they will appear.

Their bonds are crucial for evolution, not just for mega forms, but for prior forms, too.
